Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods is a collective term for substances and items which, because of their chemical or physical properties can cause damage to life, health, property or the environment during transport. Examples in the Ångström Laboratory is chemical substances, gas cylinders and liquid cooled gas. Dangerous goods are transported within the Ångström Laboratory for use in research and education.

Transport routes

Transport within the building are usually carried out by chemical representativesTransport routes and use of transport lifts are thoroughly described in the instructions.


Storage of large amounts of flammable materials are done in specific stores or in the case of flammable gases outside the buildings.
